Are the watches Mechanical (wind - up)
or Quartz (battery operated) ?
All the watches shown on this site are quartz
(battery powered). The batteries are universally available.
What movements are in the
watches and clocks ?
Unless otherwise specified
all movements are Citizen (Miyota) usually no.2035. Date function watches and
alarm clocks have similar quality movements.
Can the watches be made
larger or smaller ?
All bracelet watches can be
reduced in size by removing links. They can also be increased in size - there
is no charge for this providing you let us know the wrist size prior to your
order being filled. Leather strap watches are in standard lengths: 7.25 inches
for ladies and 8 inches for gentlemen.
How do I care for the jewellery ?
To keep your jewellery in good condition:
If you are using silver dip, use only only for a maximum of 5 seconds.
Rinse in clean water to remove any excess.
Using a soft cloth, dry very gently. To ensure complete dryness, you
may dry with a hair dryer for a brief period.
On shiny or polished surfaces, you may rub with an anti-tarnish cloth.
Do not rub matt or brushed surfaces.
If your jewellery has any applied stones eg pearls, do not immerse
in any solution which contains chemicals.
Why do the
prices shown on the site not include VAT
?
Many of these products are
shipped outside of the European Union,
where VAT is not applicable.
Why do
you charge VAT
?
Some people
have concessions to buy products without
VAT. We, as a UK company, are required
by law to charge VAT. However, we supply
all goods with a VAT invoice and you may
be able to use this reclaim the VAT from
your local VAT office.

Can I pay by
personal cheque ?
We
only accept payment by credit and debit
cards. If you are a UK customer, and you
have a cheque book, it is likely your
cheque guarantee card will show the
Switch, Delta
or maestro symbols - we accept
these. Can you give me a

on the Internet and cannot provide this
